Welcome!

Welcome to the Parson’s Pantry! Have a seat. Have a cup of tea (or a glass of whiskey).

There’s no earthly reason why you should trust me, an Episcopal Church parish priest, to give you cooking instruction or advice. I am simply a home cook. However, I think (and my family and friends tell me) that I’m a pretty good one. I enjoy cooking and I have a good time inventing dishes. Many are simply variations on classics. Others are . . . well, they’re that sort of what-do-we-have-in-the-cupboard? kind of thing that everyone engages in occasionally. When they’re successful, it’s sometimes difficult to go back and recreate them . . . .

Anyway, I needed a place to store my recipes, so here it is. I’ll store them here and then anyone else who wants may use them. If I get them from somewhere else, I’ll give credit. So . . .

This site is under construction . . . there will be recipes here . . . sometime.
